Berry Best Friends

Hi everyone! It's Ria Mojica here again. I so love the bright and happy colors of Blueberry Hill!

Here's my 1st LO using this line...I am so glad I waited for the right papers to come along before I scrapped these pics of my daughter and her best friend dressed as race car drivers for a school activity.

And here's an easy little card I made from Blueberry Hill.

I hope you enjoyed looking at these samples from Blueberry Hill as much as I enjoyed creating them!

Summerfun

Hello everyone.. Mahlin here from rainy Sweden. Oh how I wish I was at CHA right now.. BUT instead I am here making my first official post and that is not bad at all! =)

Blueberry Hill is just so cute.. and you can make your project look bright if you´d like or darker if you´d like that.. and I love that the circle papers are a little bit smaller so you can move them around. And I love cutting them up, like I did here..

I also love working with layers, and lots of them and this line is perfect for that, esp. A Sunny Day for Blueberries.. Take a closer look..

Just cut out a sun and layer it on top of another and it adds a little more dimension to your layout..

Or use the cute stuff from the die cut sheet and layer them..

I´ve fallen completley in love with My friend Birdie. It´s such a versatile collection. You can make it cute, messy, graphic, which ever way you like it..

As you can see I´m really into fuzzy cutting at the moment and I must say that ALL of Nikkis collections are perfect for this..

Thank you so much for looking!
Have a great week everyone!

Pre-show CHA & the winner of Sunday's Giveaway...

Hey all! Well I don't have much of an update for you all today... day 2 of set up is my favorite, its decorating and rearranging everything a thousand times!! I love it!! So I just have one picture for you and its on my iphone (I forgot my camera today) so the equality isn't that great but you can get the basic Idea. The booth is done but the crates haven't been carried away yet (they do that during the night) and the walkway carpet isn't down yet either (they do that during the night too) but I'll have better picks tomorrow! Here is today's picture...

I can't wait for tomorrow... visiting with all the retailers, designers and friends I've made! Speaking of friends I went to dinner with Susan Dupre (my domestic DT leader & can't image doing a CHA without her) Stephanie Hunt & the Bella Blvd team, we had a great dinner (thanks for dinner Stephanie) and a wonderful visit! Stephanie and her team are great people! I just love the friends I've made!!

Now for the winner of Sunday's giveaway is.... Kristie! Please email me your mailing address and I'll get this out just as soon as I get home! ;) Oh and you can thank Dan, my hubby, he picked the number tonight!
Kristie said...
"What a beautiful collection! I really love the blue/green color combo. Thanks for the chance to win! Enjoy CHA!!"

Well it's 11:30 pm here and I must get some much needed sleep for tomorrow!
Goodnight!! -Nikki

Birds of a feather

Hi there! It´s Monika here, making my first ever post for Nikki Sivils. It´s a bit scary but I hope I will be able to inspire you. Well… Actually, that shouldn´t be a problem, who doesn´t get inspired just by looking at these gorgeous patterns and colors. I´m for one totally in L O V E!

I´ve used the “My Friend Birdie” collection for these summery photos. They are taken on the day after Midsummer (a Swedish holiday), and it was one of the first really warm days of summer.

I love to use my sewing machine on my layouts. Not that I like sewing so much but I love the result it gives – it makes a layout look so much more worked on.

The “My Friend Birdie” line has a round die cut paper with scalloped edges, it is so beautiful, but I just couldn’t fit it in on this layout, so instead, I used the “scallops” by cutting them two by two and make the borders for the photo.

This is a card I made for my nice, she loves purple and the “Boo-tiful” line was perfect for this. My daughter was a bit worried that she might notice that the card is made of Halloween papers, but as Halloween isn´t all that big here in Sweden, I don´t think it will be a problem.

Dreamer

Howdy! Michelle Bertuzzi here. Hope you all are enjoying this great day! Who's getting ready to go to CHA? There will be lots of new Nikki Sivils products to drool from.

I'm sharing 3 projects with ya' all today using the super cute irresistible Willow Bee collection.
First project is a layout about myself. Yes, I'm a dreamer. It's free so why not take it. :)

My second project is this little bird house. Perfect to use for those scraps that you have hanging around. I painted the wooden bird house with white paint (perfect cover up for those teeny tiny mistakes you'll make with measuring the papers) and brown paint for the fence. I then covered it with this beautiful A Good Place to B and Bee Strips. I pierced the sunflower from the same Bee Strips paper to create dimensions in front of the bird house as well as the clouds. Embellish it however you like. This bird house is available at any Michaels' store.

This 3rd project is a layout of my youngest son. He's happy as a bee so the Willow Bee is so perfect for him and these silly photos.

So glad you popped over!
Have a wonderful time for all of you attending the CHA and give Nikki a big kiss from muah!
Enjoy the rest of this beautiful week!
