All Winter Wonderland Boxes have been shipped as of today!

Fed-Ex and USPS have scheduled picked-ups today and

that means I'm done shipping (unless more orders come in)!

I know there has been some concern about not getting tracking emails and here is why...

The shipping date I posted on my original blog for all the Goodie Boxes was for Friday the 16th (this was the start date for shipping). 

That was on the original post, so I just started shipping Friday and today is Tuesday and tomorrow all my boxes will have been shipped. I had to ship a lot of the boxes via Fed EX ground which means I had to hand type them in b/c my paypal only charged everyone $5.00 for the shipping and all the shipping was between the $10 to $13 so I started checking around that way I would not be out all the extra shipping charges. Fed Ex seemed to give me the best deal, so I was only out between $2 to $5 dollars per order instead of $5 to $9. But when doing that I had to take the shipping out of paypal so it doesn't show its been shipped but ALL BOXES HAVE SHIPPED via Fed Ex and USPS FOR ALL INTERNATIONAL ORDERS. Sorry for the confession, I was a bit overwhelmed with the fantastic responds and had to kit 100's of individual paper lines. I actually did pretty good getting over 200 boxes out in 5 days all by myself... LOL!

Shipping Update...

Hi everyone, I hope you've had a great weekend! 

I've been fighting a cold, STILL (week 3), but I'm feeling a bit better also I've

been getting all the Winter Wonderland Boxes packed! 

The response has been awesome!!

The shipping date I posted on my blog for all the Goodie Boxes was for Friday the 16th (that was the start date for shipping, although I thought I'd have it all done by then), so some did shipped out Friday, a few today (Saturday the 17th) and hopefully the rest will ship Monday & Tuesday. I received a lot more orders than I thought I would and wasn't prepared for prepping over 200 boxes (by myself)! LOL! I had maybe 40 pre-kitted paper packs so I had to kit all the individual  paper lines then pack them in boxes, print shipping labels, packing slips.  All this is taking a lot more time than I thought it would.. but everything should be done by Tuesday.

 This is the first 50 boxes, packed and ready for shipping labels and to be closed up!

Visiting Lanie....

We loved our time with Lanie in Chicago! 

I didn't want to do an update until I had something to update about her health as well. 

Good News...

(this is from Lanie's brother)

Just heard from M D Anderson (hospital in TX). 
They advised start (already ordered meds) immediately and come back there in 8 weeks. Lanie tested positive for HLA at MD Anderson!!!! We needed some good news and this is it until total healing manifests. Praise God. Thank you, Pray-ers.

I know this doesn't make a lot of sense and I had to call Lanie to try to understand and I didn't really understand it completely I just know that she gets to start a different med that should start showing results ASAP!

Please continue to pray, she's not out of the woods, we need lots of prayers.

So now for our nice visit with Lanie...

We brought poor Savannah and well, she's not a fan of traveling.

Poor thing was so stressed and upset we had to stop 3 hours in and get some major drugs from our vet to knock her out. But this is how she started the trip... Standing!

10 hours later... we checked in to our hotel!

Finally, a nice long visit and lunch with Lanie and her wonderful parents!

Bella LOVED the city... if you couldn't tell!

We loved Lanie's beautiful neighborhood! 

We walked it daily, luckily we had great Fall temps!

We took Lanie and her pup, Lola to the lake/beach for a nice long walk!

Also we stopped for some fun pics too!

Bella loved hers and poor Savannah, not so much.

We loved our time with Lanie, and it was heartbreaking to leave.

Hoping we will get to see her during Thanksgiving!

I was so sick the week of Halloween so I decided to just make something from scratch via 

my closet. So I painted my face, put on a big orange shirt, made a headband pumpkin topper and bam.. a pumpkin was created!

Election Day Is Here!

Thought this day would never come! 

I'm sooooo tired of the commercials, more than anything at this point!

I make it a rule to not talk about politics or religion and I'm still sticking to that so no talk about whom I'm voting for, sorry, I know you where just dying to know, right! LOL!

I'm only blogging today so I could share this funny picture that I got from facebook on the German Shepherd Dog page....

 Our great and great great-grandmothers fought hard for our right as women to vote so we owe it to them to vote,
