Some Santa and and a hug

Hi everyone! I'm Deanna and I'm here to share my projects with you for this month. Of course, I too worked with North Pole Nights. I love it because it's such a whimsical and playful collection featuring mainly non-traditional Christmas colors! Definitely not your ordinary holiday collection! And I love that it's so versatile too!

"A Visit with Santa"

For my first layout, I wanted to document my girls visit to see Santa. Here I used a lot of the cut-ups, as well as a border punch to give the ledger paper a little oomph. And both the candy cane and year on the tag are accented with red liquid pearl to give them a shiny look.

"Christmas hugs"

For my 2nd layout I decided to go with the non-traditional colors, and this picture of my daughter and her cousin from last Christmas seem to fit those colors perfectly. To give the tree some "ornaments" and the flowers centers, I used Nikki's corduroy brads, and really love the look! They add such great depth and texture!

Well that's all for me today, but I look forward to blogging with you on the 17th of every month! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season, and get all your last minute running around finished up quickly! :D

Happy Holidays!
