Happy Tuesday

And a happy tuesday it is!
It's Hilde taking over the blog again. ;-)
I have some amazing work to show you today. All created by girls from the international Design Team!
Lot's of inspiration for you today, I can tell you....;-)))

The first layout is created by myself. I so love the Something for Everyone collection.
I am never having a scrappers block when I use these papers.
The soft colors are just perfect!

I also used the adorable Burlap Buttons on this layout.
I think I use them on almost every project from now on...:-).

I wasn't the only person who was inspired by this gorgeous paper collection.
Wendela also created a layout using these papers.

Her layout is called 'ijspret' which is dutch for something like ' having fun on ice'
The picture is of her son with his cute skates on.
She used a knife to add the Gesso on the layout. She is also a master with the sewing machine!

Mette also used the Something for Everyone collection with her layout.

She layered some different patterns on top of each other.
Do you spot the burlap buttons as well? ;-)

Michele created two layouts to show you. One with the Something for everyone collection and the other with Happy Holly-Days collection.

I love the combination with kraft over here. Michele also used the Burlap Buttons and the Cool Cord Brads.

If you see Micheles last layout you still get the Christmas feeling a bit right?
At least I do!
So, if you don't mind I'm going to show you some Christmas cards Janis created.
Maybe you have the urge to start creating them early for next Christmas...;-)))

Jill is a master in combining collections to create amazing layouts!
Here she has two layouts using Something for Everyone and Sugar Cookie.
And you can see they go perfect together!!!!

Monika has created a layout using My Friend Birdie Collection.
Look at the amazing flowers she created!!

She masked this layout so beautiful!!
Wow, I can look at it forever!!!

She also created a beautiful Valentine card. Which will be the final project for this post.
I think we couldn't have a better final today! :-))

She used the Sugar Cookie collection for this card. You can see you need to have it as well and create some beautiful cards yourself!

She stamped on a piece of fabric and colored it with pro markers.

That's all for today!!
Remember to check this blog as much as you can. More gorgeous work to come very soon!!

Have a great day.
Love
Hilde

This going to be a short and sweet post...

We are in high gear preparing for CHA so that leaves me with little time to blog! However I want to share some pictures of all of us around the office/home.  My crate ships out this Thursday for LA so we are all working around the clock!
This is one of my studio craft tables where I'm prepping samples for my booth.
I call this chair my "stack-n-go" chair, b/c once I'm finished with whatever paper line I'm using its put on the chair then I'm off working on the next paper line!
This is the other table that holds "to do" or "have done"
projects!
Boxes of product being shipped to some of our sales reps!
Caitlin working on CHA make-n-takes.
The warehouse room... well its just a mess right now!
Here is my actual office table that again I have tons of samples, proofs of the catalog and anything else you can imagine!
Dan working on building the stand for my mailbox that I'll
have in my booth! (and Nico with wood in his mouth, he's not so helpful)

This is my hall, and what was my piano room, now its my packing room for CHA room.
That's what my home and work look like, a mess! I love this part... preparing for CHA and getting everything ready, it can be stressful but its good stress!
Have a great week! -Nikki

My LSS is the home of Allison Davis sketch books! (This is the only picture I had of the big sign for her sketches.)
They also moved into a huge new store just days before hosting my day.
Its such an awesome store, if you are ever in Springfield Mo you have to make this one of your "must see" stops!

I'm teaching at a store in LA, Pages of the Heart, a couple of days before CHA, all the information is below. If you live in the area I'd love to have you in my class! I'll be using my brand new paper line
Its Raining, It's Pouring for the class project, a 2 page layout and a card.
The layout was designed by Liz Qualman one of my DT Diva's!

That's it for today!
I'm off now to work on CHA goodies!

Oh what a day...

My goal this week was to blog at least 3 times... (I'm actually laughing as I write this, I thought I could do that along with everything else) well I got one blog post in this week! I guess that's good! Today started out like a Monday... running around desperately trying to get all the things done that needed to be done so I could meet my girlfriends for our "First Friday of the Month" lunch.  I had to get my workout in, then pack all my supplies for the 4 mini classes I'm teaching tomorrow at my LSS (Scrapbook Generation), a meeting at 10:30 (by phone thank goodness as I was still in my workout clothes) and then the delivery of my new crate for my booth at CHA.  Okay so all was going good and just to plan, I was staying on my time schedule.... then the 900 lbs crate arrives.  The driver forgot his pallet jack. Really? Come on now! So off I was tracking my dad down (he has several of these) so I could get a pallet jack to my house in 20 minutes.
After pulling him out of a meeting the pallet jack was on its way over to the move this huge crate from the trailer to my now overly packed garage!
I now have less than an hour to shower and leave for my girls lunch, not looking good for me. While waiting for the pallet jack I get Lanie and Caitlin to help me move the 3 pallets of paper so that the crate will fit into the garage. Paper is heavy.... that's all I'm going to say about that.  Now I have 15 mins to shower and leaver for lunch, not going to happen. I text my friends tell them to order the food and I'll be late.  The pallet jack arrives... YAY! Thanks to good ole' dad! Now I'm officially late for lunch with my friends. Once my crate is safely in my garage I run for my bathroom (no shower, oh well I showered last night and little sweat never killed anyone) washed my face put on jeans & t-shirt and a little make-up. Run out the door and am only 30 minutes late for lunch! Not bad if I do say so myself!
We had a wonderful lunch and they all helped my shop for some outfits for CHA! And boy did they help.... spent too much money, but would do it all over again with these girls. I so needed a "friend" lunch, and some girlie time. I never get to be all girlie and giggle. It was one of my best days ever!
Thanks girls I really don't know what I'd do without you in my life!

If you are in Springfield Missouri tomorrow come by and visit me at my LSS, Scrapbook Generation! I'll be there from 10-5 teaching mini classes with my some of my local design team girls.

Welcome 2011!

I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year! Ours was nice and quiet, I had 350 kits to put together to ship out for Monday so I was a kit packing machine! My dear sweet hubby made Henry and I our New Year's Eve dinner. It was so good... steaks, sweet potatoes, grilled onion and garlic rosemary bread!
Then for dessert we had apple pie and ice cream! Yum Yum!! Then I woke up New Years Day and worked out so hard! Which is a great way to start the the New Year. Dan & I have always been real good about working out so starting the new year with some intense exercise was good for both of us (and I needed to work off my much too big slice of apple pie)!
For a little New Years treat I have a small sneak peak for you...
Here is a badge for your blog with my new
"Max & Mollie"
paper line paper line!!

This is my second CHA 2011 Sneak Peek!

Max & Mollie
Put this badge on your blog and if I or a few of my DT girls see it then
you'll get "Max & Mollie" papers before its in the retail stories!
Good Luck!

As most of you know Dan bought me a wonder Canon camera for Christmas, I think he might be regretting it now... because I run around the house saying "wait I need a picture of you doing that" or "hold that pose" and his favorite "wait let me get my camera"!!

So here are a few pictures I've taken around the house...
Bella Blue
Alfred
Sweet Savannah
Dan, Henry and I exchange ornaments every year about a week
before Christmas and I of course needed a picture of
them!
This is mine from Dan
(Beavers b/c of my Tree Love paper line.)
Dan's ornament from me...
and Henry's from Dan and I!

Last but not least I snapped these pictures of our big boy "Nico"
sitting on Dan's lap! Yes, he wants to be a lap dog!
Poor fella is just too big!

Have a wonderful Sunday! -Nikki
