Boo!

Hiyah all! Michelle Bertuzzi here posting from chilly Alberta, Canada. Hope you are enjoying whatever is left of summer. Something to look forward to - Fall is one of my favorite season. Great weather and beautiful colors of scenery.

My Friend Birdie collection remind me of fall colors but it is versatile and can go with just about any theme. I punched the photos and patterned paper using 2" Marvy Uchida square punch.

Supplies Used:
Layout Patterned Paper Base: My Friend Birdie Shake a Tail Feather
2" Cut Paper: 6x6 My Friend Birdie Paper Pad
Banner: Birdie Cut Ups
Alphabet: My Friend Birdie Cardstock Stickers
Cardstock: Bazzill
Journaling: Bird Plus Journaling tags
Tools: Marvy Uchida 2" Square Punch
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Vintage Photo)

And for leftover scraps, you can easily whip up a simple card too!

Supplies Used:
Patterned Paper: Birdie Bubbles
Die-Cuts: Birdie Cut Ups
Embellishment: Burlap Button Brown
Cardstock: Bazzill
Sticker: Pocket of Stickers Blue Bees, SRM
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Vintage Photo)

And since Halloween is pretty much on its way, so I thought I'd share a Halloween project I recently did. Sorry for the poor photos, it was quite dark when I took this.

Would you believe I only used 6x6 paper pad on this project? Nikki's Chipboard Albums match/coordinate her paper pad size really well. Just cover it, pierced the edges and voila, ready to embellish!

I also cut up the 6x6 into 4 squares (basically 3" squares) & created little banners to go in between the ghosts.

Can you spot the ghost Hula dancer? :)

Supplies Used:
Patterned Paper: Boo-tiful 6x6 Paper Pad
Chipboard Album: Ghost Album
Die-Cuts: Boo-tiful Cutie Cut Ups
Ribbon/Trim: Michael's
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Black Soot
Embellishment: Burlap Button Brown
Button: Craft Store
Alphabet: My Friend Birdie Cardstock Stickers

That's it for me today, appreciate you stopped by!
Have a beautiful weekend!
