We fly out tomorrow to do our first press check on all our scrapbook papers!!! I'm so excited I can hardly wait!!!!!!!!! Hope we can bring some home with us so I can play with my very own scrapbook papers! How cool would that be!!!This is a pic of my husband, Dan, and I, we did a photo shoot for my website and I just loved this picture of us together. (BTW- I get this look from him often..... I can't tell is it endearing or mischievous???)
This weekend I'll post a "sneak peak" of my first paper line and also the details for putting together my new design team! I can't wait to see all your great layouts, cards, and projects; there is so much talent out there in the "scrap" world. Have a great WEEK!! -Nikki

I'm glad I did! I am so excited to hear about a local coming out with a scrapbook line! I can't wait to see some sneak peeks of it.

Hello Nikki! I just found your blog by accident (blog serving through Splitcoaststampers) and I have to say, I am so excited for you and I haven't even met you. I will certainly be submitting my artwork for a chance to be a part of your design team. I hope to see your display at CHA this summer. I already have my tickets!
Why did you have to fly? Is this some new trend in the industry? Where did you end up going?
We had to fly b/c driving would have been to far, (Mo to Utah). I don't know about this being a new trend or not, my printing company told us we should come out and see the process and that we would have better control of getting the colors right if I was there to say, I need more red on this or less blue on this one. After being at the first press check I plan on being all the others from here on out too! Hope that helps answer your questions.
