Layout Day

Wow, what a weird week, even with it being Halloween!  I hope that if you are part of the US that got covered with a snowstorm that you have power or are getting it back soon.  I love, love, LOVE...(did I say love?) snow, but being without power for days upon days is not fun.  We wish you all well and hope everything gets back to normal soon.

Now on to the layouts!  We have Mette Kallander and Mahlin Wiggur up on the blog today.  Both of these Divas have their own style and it's totally different!  Which I love!

First up is Mette with this adorable layout about herself!  She used a combination of School is Cool and You're a Hoot.

Then next up is Mahlin with this fun layout using You're a Hoot. I love how she used the negative of the circles and that little owl peeking out is adorable!!

And I love the glitter on the sticker letters!  I think I am going to have to try that out!

Well, I took a vacation day today and I am off to get those grays covered and those bangs out of my eyes!!  If you are friends with me on Facebook, you might just see a pic of me at the salon!  LOL

International Diva Time..Jill, Mahlin, Ria, and Mette Rocking the Blog

Today is International Diva day here on the Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker blog!  And they all have some fun layouts for you!

First up is Jill Hildebrand.
She has done a couple of layouts this time around,
so let's she what she has come up with.
She used the My Lil Monster collection for both of her layouts.

Here is a fun layout entitled "NASA" and how cute is the picture of them in their space helmets?!!

Next up is a layout titled "Monster Truck"!
PERFECT title with the My Lil Monster
collection being used!  I love all her stitching she does.

Next up is Mahlin Wiggur.  She has a layout for us also, with the My Lil Monster Collection.

Such a fun take on a layout about herself!  And a unique use for My Lil Monster as well.  Love the circle picture placed into the die cut from the Punch Outs!

Then we have Ria Mojica who is used My Lil Monster also!  (I love seeing all the different takes on these papers!)

And this collection is PERFECT to scrap Halloween photos with!

And last, but certainly not least is Mette Kallander.  She scrapped a picture from her childhood.  That is her in the yellow cardigan.

She used a few collections mixed together, including Get Well Soon, School is Cool, and My Lil Monster.

And in some other exciting news, our talented Diva, Jen Matott was interviewed for the new website, Design Team Calls.
You can check out her interview HERE.

That's it for today. It was a perfect day and I have had my excitement for the day of riding a Segway for the first time. I am proud to say that I only had to bail twice!  A record in my opinion!!  And no Segways were hurt during this!

International Diva Flair anyone?!

Ok, I am beginning to think that I need to have a contest for blog post titles!  Or maybe just a specific title for each posting that I do!  So if you Nikki fans think I am getting a little crazy with the post titles, PLEASE just let me know in the comments!

There was a comment left on my last post about wishing our paper collections came in packs....well IT DOES!!  For the new collections that were released at CHA we have collection packs that include EVERYTHING you need!  There are two sheets of each 12x12 double-sided paper, 2 sticker sheets and sheet of our new punch outs!  AND, you get a BONUS sheet of pattern paper on the back of the cover of the collection kit!!

Here is a look at our "My Lil' Monster" collection kit and what is in it!  Click on that image to get a close look!

Ok, let's get on to some of the International Divas projects!!

First up is Anna Bowkis.  She has created a sweet layout of a trip on a boat!
This has Get Well Soon and School as Cool mixed in together!

Next up is Jill Hildebrand.  She used the Get Well Soon collection also on her layout about how much she loves comfort when she is sick.  I love how she

Next up we have Wendela Lam. She used the Get Well Soon collection to
document a broken arm.  In case you are wondering, I think this is the A4 size overseas that she used for the layout!

And last, but not least we have Mahlin Wiggur.  She created a card and a layout!

I LOVE how she used the Get Well Soon collection for this card and emphasized the purple color!  And I think I see some sparkle on those letter stickers!

And then her layout with the Get Well Soon collection. How fun is that background she made on the pattern paper!

Well, that is it from the International side of things today!  Check back later in the week for our guest designer!!!

Monika, Anna, Mahlin and Ria are up on the blog today!

We are going to kick off today's post with some projects from Monika Martinson.  I LOVE this size she did and emailed her to ask what size it was.  The size is 12 inches by 8 inches, which is their normal paper size over in Sweden, like ours is 8.5 inches by 11 inches.  I am going to try this size!

This first layout, she used the new My Lil Monster collection and the red Cute as a Button burlap buttons.

This next one, she used the School is Cool collection.  See those tied bows on the left side, so cute!!

Next up we have projects from Anna Bowkis.  She has such a unique style and this first layout shows that talent off quite well.

Here Anna used the School is Cool collection to document a track event.  I love how she mish mashed the pieces together at angles to come up with a unique look to her layout.

Here Anna used the Get Well Soon collection, such a sweet layout.

And now we are to Mahlin Wiggur.  She has a card and a layout today, which both include some great detail shots that you guys love!
Here's her card using School is Cool.  I love the distressed edges, mixed with the stitching.

And on her layout she used School is Cool also.  I love how she got two TOTALLY different looks from the same paper line!

Last up we have Ria Mojica.  She used the You're a Hoot Collection to celebrate her son's first fencing tournament!

Well, that's it from us today!  Be sure to check back with us this week.  On the 16th we will have our guest designer, Allison Davis, co-creator of Sketches with Scrapbooking Volumes 1-8 and the creator of the Sketch Support website joining us!
