A Nico update and a bit more...

Hey there everyone... hope you all are loving these beautiful Spring days!! I sure am... I started my evening walks outside again but I do miss my walking buddy, Nico!  In a couple of weeks he might be able to take some short walks but by Summer he'll be ready for our hour and half hard core walks! I can't wait but I bet he can't wait more! He watches me leave out the front door and just cries.. breaks my heart in two!
So now Dan takes him in the backyard and sits with him while I sneak out, but when I come back in he gives me a big sniff and I think he knows I've been walking without him! 
Here are a few pictures of him I took on Sunday...
You can see he got his bedding (old cushions) just the way he wanted them!
Nico can't be off leash for another several weeks so if he's not with us on a leash he has to be created so we've set up a little x-pin outside for him. He loves being outside so much so we've done our best to get him outside safely. 
Look at that knee... it looks so good, although I worry about how big that bone is on the inside of his knee... but I guess that's my job as a dog-mom! 
Compared to this, just a few days after surgery... it really looks good!

Still as intense as ever and I think even more protective of us since we rarely if ever leave his side. 
Sure love that face... 
His hair is growing back good...

He is so beautiful! 
Thanks again so much for all your emails and comments about him! He's doing great! We travel back to his surgeon (6 hour round trip) next week for more x-rays to make sure everything is healing well! 

I have a couple of projects to share...
One is this adorable card created by Brenda Rose! Brenda uploaded this to my FB Fan page and I just fell in love with it! So sweet! Brenda used my "Beatrice" paper line, Brenda is a designer for Sassy Lil Sketches (a fun place to hangout) and this card sketch was created by Cherie at Sassy Lil Sketches! 
I'm so excited about this layout too, it was created by Jodi Wilton who was on my very first design team! I love Jodi's work and when she emailed me this layout I HAD to show it off! Jodi is so talented! Thanks Jodi for sharing it with me and all of us here at NSS!

    Your papers are so AWESOME, I first got some from Scrapbook Generations while visiting Springfield, and this weekend while scrpabooking in GA - a few friends saw them and was so jealous, because I had them and told them they weren't available at the store we were at but they could get them from your website!!     Glad to hear Nico is getting better. I have a dog that has hip problems and he had hip surgery a couple years ago. He could not go up and down stairs after the surgery, but that is the only way into my home, so my husband made a special ramp for him to go in and out!!

    awwwwwwww I am SO glad that your handsome Nico is doing well with his recovery! I've said it so many times before but just have to gush over how awesome your recent releases have been... I've been able to get 2 of the new collections so far and they are even more adorable IRL (seriously, online pictures don't do them justice at all) and thank you for going with the matching sticker sheets with the alpha included!     I'm so glad he's alright! My poor dog is 15 and blind and he can't do big walks anymore but if he misses a day without his short trip outside to check his p-mail he's just heartbroken, so I feel your pain. I'm sure he'll be ready to join you soon!
