it's Flaming ...

Hello blog friends, you are hearing Emeline's voice today.
The design team members did such an awesome job with Nikki's new line didn't they !
The previous blog posts are filled with so many inspiring layouts i hope you'll get your hands on these new hot collections very soon !

Today, i'll be showcasing layouts and a framed project using 2 of Nikki Sivil's latest collection Flaming Butterfly and Bella Blue and Oscar Too . (Nikki comes up with the most adorable names for her collections, don't you think ?!) Butterflies motifs, pattern papers, embellishments are sprouting all around us in the creative world and I guess it's here to stay for a while :). I'm not complaining cause these are absolutely beautiful creatures. :)Here is a frame using cut up butterfly motifs from Butterfly Rest/ Butterfly Galaxy.

I love how whimsical these new selections are. Her colors are bold and out of the ordinary yet SO compatible at the same time.

I hope Nikki Sivil's product range will hit the stores soon. You just got to see them in real life – they are beautiful, functional and so easy to use ! go ask your stockist to stock up these refreshing papers and embellishments !

more projects using U R My Favourite

Greeting !
it's the 16th again and this is emeline reporting...

Valentine's day is fast approaching and i am totally addicted to anything red, pink and any other valentiney colors at the moment !
When i first saw Nikki's U R My Favourite paper line, i was impressed !
Really impressed with the color combinations. it look so fresh, funny and sweet all rolled into one ! Then the adorable Princess and the Frog movie came along, it put a smile on my face !
I thought i needed to use these papers along with the princess' movie theme.

i wanted to document what my little boy said after the show.
so, please let me set the scene and the cast . the frog = my little boy.
2 princesses = me and my little girl.



i adhered pattern paper onto the chipboard, sand papered the edges i applied dry brush around.

here, i stamped onto vellum and supported it with a piece of cork sheet.

More of North Pole Nights

Hello everyone,
this is Emeline, your host for every 16th of the month.
Slightly more than a week left before the 25th; hope you are almost done with your shopping and in high gear for the coming Christmas !

i wonder if you did any handmade Christmas themed decorations this year.
i always love to think scrapbookers like us would look forward to special days in the calendar and make items for our home or for giveaways.

Here, i made a candy cane holder using Nort Pole Nights paper Collections and Chipboard Album: Tag. I adore the dome shaped chipboard and i envisioned it looking like a pretty pot when they are lined up perpendicular to each other. So off to work , i created these with these simple brief steps :

- cover 4 chipboards with 2 red / 2 green paper (you can opt to use cardstocks)
- Cut out motifs from An Elf Came to Visit scallop papers and Nights of Cutie Cut-Ups/Christmas Magic paper.
- Using the die cutting machine, scallop edge pattern paper from Night Before Christmas/Surprise.
- Using the zutter bind it all, punch along the edges of the tag chipboards and secure the wires.
- embellish each chipboards with ribbon and scallop edge.
- embellish the front with elf motif, buttons, craft flags.

The Christmas themed papers are really a breeze to use; here's a layout using Nikki Sivil's North Pole Nights Collection.
I's been so inspired by the layouts and papercrafted items created by the girls in the design team ! I hope you are enjoying the inspirations as much as i am ...

Nikki's pattern papers have such adorable graphics to stretch your imagination.
Here, i used stickles to add glitters onto the chirstmas baubles and decorations on the tree.
