I ♥ North Pole Nights...

Hi everyone, Deana here! Isn't it FUN to see how everyone is creating with the North Pole Nights line this month? I am so inspired!

I love to paper-piece on my projects. Nikki's lines make it SO easy with all the cute & fun images she's created! One of my favorite things about her lines, though, are the scalloped-edge papers! I love them & use them a LOT!

My first project is my December Daily album. I made my first December Daily last year. This year there was no question that I would use the North Pole Nights line for my book! It certainly makes it easy when everything is already coordinated! I started my book with 2 of the chipboard albums. I chose the Victoria's Street House album & the North Pole Nights Tag album. Then I covered all the pages with patterned paper from the North Pole Nights line. I adhered the paper & then cut it with a craft knife for a smoother edge. I inked all the edges, too, to give it a more finished look. The scallops worked well for the "roof" on my cover page...

I made my own "wreath" for the door with paper from My Sweet Cherry Pie by using 2 different size punches & then added some red pearls for my "berries"...

I love how you can cut out images from the patterned paper to use as embellishments on your page... like the ornaments for example! The craft flags are always fun to use, too...

For the next 2 pages, I used a journaling stamp & a journaling block. Both are fast & easy ways to jot down what you want to remember...

More My Sweet Cherry Pie on my envelope on Day #6. The red & green in that line work perfectly with the North Pole Nights line... a great way to re-use what you already have!

I'll be posting more pages from my book as the month progresses! So... grab your North Pole Nights & follow along with me!

Next I made a little dress card... quick & easy. Just drew a pattern for my dress, cut it out & added a corduroy brad on the "belt"...

This gift card holder was made using the North Pole Nights Tag album again. I cut my paper into a mitten pattern & adhered it to the front of the card. Then I painted the inside of the card pink to match. I used embroidery floss to bind my card together. Don't ask me what kind of stitching I did. It makes no sense whatsoever!

And finally, just for fun, I made a 2010 calendar combining most of the lines...

Thank you SO MUCH for the opportunity to share my work with you! I hope you all enjoy the holiday season!
