Welcome our August Guest Designer....Allison Davis

Our guest designer for the month of August is Allison Davis.  This is one talented lady and she KNOWS how to rock anything to do with scrapbooking.  Especially TWO PAGE LAYOUTS!!  So, let's get to know a little more about her

Allison got her start in scrapbooking about six years ago after her family opened Scrapbook Generation, a scrapbook store in Springfield, Missouri. She is the co-founder of Scrapbook Generation Publishing and is also the co-author of Sketches for Scrapbooking, a series of sketch books aimed at helping scrapbookers save time with detailed, yet simple and creative, yet doable two-page sketches. In July she introduced her own series of sketch books, Sketches for Scrapbooking: One-page Sketches. Allison is also the creator of www.sketchsupport.com, a website devoted to sketches with daily posts of projects created by herself and the Sketch Support creative team.

When Allison isn't scrapbooking she most enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, and their two boys, Drew and Jackson. She also likes to spend time baking cupcakes, taking pictures, and spending time with her sister.

Allison played with the School is Cool and Gingerbread Land collections.  Let's see what she came up with for us!

Next up, let's see the card that she did with the Gingerbread Land collection.

She used the punch outs and hand stitching to create a cute card with ornaments hanging from it....I think some of you might use this as an idea for Christmas cards!! 

And last, we have another two page layout from Allison using Gingerbread Land.  I told you she was a two page girl!  She has such a unique, clean style to her layouts.

I laughed when Allison sent me this, she LOVES to make cupcakes!  And to make layouts about them!!  Such a cute idea for Christmas treats and how to document them.  

And a little closer look! That cupcake is genius....and I told you she stitches on almost all her layouts!
