a little bit of summer sunshine

Hi all! This is Leah, signing in for my very first blog post here as a member of the Doghouse Divas! {Are you getting tired of hearing that yet? :)} I had a big box of Nikki's brand new goodies land here the other day, so I'll be able to share projects with the paper lines from the upcoming CHA!

I wanted to start off with a layout I made about one of our favorite summer desserts using Nikki's new "Blueberry Hill" line!


What could be better than a cool dessert with a twist of lime to kick the heat of summer? I actually shared this recipe not long ago on my blog, so I had lots of photos to choose from...

Here are some details from the layout:





And one more thing. A sweet little congratulations card I put together with the brand new "My Friend Birdie" line + a journal sticker from one of the "pocket of treats" packets. I just couldn't resist the little birdies on this 6x6 mini paper!
