The Long and Short of It...

Hi! It's Jen here. I have some new projects to share with you and a few giveaways that I'm looking to give to someone... Stay with me until the end of this post and I'll share.

First, I have a page that I made with the Ellie's Day Out line.

A girl can never have too many shoes! LOVE that stamp.. it fits so many occasions and girly photos. Can you guess who this is in this photo? Yep... it's me at around 4 years old I think. I was always in my mom's closet getting into her shoes! It was fun to pretend to be a mommy or adult while wearing her heals! I love the papers in this line. The feminine colors, the cute designs, and I love the die cut scalloped circle that I had go off the edge.

I cut strips from the papers and pleat folded them or used them in place of ribbon. I also used the cutie cut ups for tags and a background for my title.

Next up is a simple... and I do mean super simple, card. I am not a fussy cardmaker. I like to get them done fast! For this one, I cut out the stars, tag, and records all from the Dan The Record Man cut up sheet and used them for embellishments. The sentiment was stamped with the Willie B's alphabet stamps! I plan to give this birthday card to one of the boys in my family!
Okay, now for the giveaway part. I had pulled a winner for my blog on NSD but haven't heard back from that person yet for claiming their prize. Here is the name and if you are this person, please visit my blog for my email and get me your addy to send a cute pack of Nikki Sivils goodies!
The winner was: Erika M. said...

I really love the whimsical designs of Nikki's paper!

AND

Remember when we did the blog crawl? Well, I made another garland because I loved it so much and I have an extra one to give away! So if you want to receive this little extra prize, leave a comment here and I'll pick a winner for this cute little gem (similar to below) by next Wednesday, May 19th!
Hope you are enjoying the nice Spring weather wherever you are (for some of you it may be a different season :) and I look forward to giving away a few goodies!

XOXO

Jen

  1. I totally agree, a girl can never have too many shoes. I won't tell you how many I have! I too used to raid my Mum's shoe closet. My faves were these knee-high black lace up the front boots. I used to teeter around in them often.
