The little things...

Good morning everyone, Claude here with you on this wonderful Sunday! Have you been following the Olympics? They are *huge* in our house, we watch every single event we can manage. I am Canadian, so I am quite proud of my country right now. I love how the Olympics bring the world together. Go world!

Now, on to some Nikki Sivils stuff. As I've said before, I love to scrap the little things. In the following layouts, I scrapped 2 things my kids have said that I don't want to forget.

First off, here's Kira in a layout using the Willow Bee collection. You'll also notice some of the new cardstock stickers found in the Pockets of Stickers and the awesome burlap buttons.

Sean is the star of the next one. I used the gorgeous Flaming Butterfly collection. Trust me, you'll want to get your hands on this one! The colours are truly amazing!

Don't forget to join Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker, Jillibean Soup and Bella Blvd on March 5th for an amazing blog crawl!!

See you next month!

It's me again!

Hi you all! It's Hilde from the Netherlands again. I'm your bloghostess for today.
Since I received the new collections I'm in love. Wow, what an amazing job Nikki did creating these wonderful collections.
For example 'Bella blue and Oscar too'. I don't own a dog, but I still can use these papers so well. They are so diverse!
And the packages of the new stickers...amazing to use on your layout. Well, I can talk about it for a long while if you let me too, but I think I can better show you my 2 layouts.

First I created a layout using Flaming Butterfly;

And my second layout is with Bella Blue and Oscar too;

Can't wait to see all of your wonderful creations passing by in our gallery.
Have a great weekend!

Scrapbook Memories and a bit more...

Hey there everyone I have some fun stuff to share!! I'm in Cleveland Ohio taping a show for Scrapbook Memories. I have some pictures from today. Here I am with Julie McGuffee (the Host) getting ready to start taping my first segment!! I was so nervous... really, my hands were shaking! But the crew was great and gave me such good instructions that by the time we started I was doing a bit better.
This is Beth Madland (the other host) for the 2nd segment. Both ladies were super sweet and so good at what they do!! These shows will air sometime after June.
Dan and I in the "green room" waiting to go on the set! We had a great day and ended it at PF Changs!!
I have a few links I wanted to share with you... The first is Eclectic Paperie posted the nicest video from CHA of my booth. Here is the link. Noell Hyman also stopped by for a visit, here is that link. Amy Coon came by with her crew, and it was so nice to meet her in real life. This is her CHA video of my booth. Christine from Scraptime came by to see me, we first met at the Summer CHA, here is her video. Thanks to all of you who took time out of your day to come visit my booth! I enjoyed meeting all of you and seeing some of you again!!

One more link for you... this is a lady, Linda, that can rock out a card and recently she bought and used my papers to make a card. I was so excited to see her using my 6x6 mini pad of papers for her card. Take some time to look around her blog its full of great inspiration!!

Don't forget about our HUGE BLOG CRAWL.....

Have a great night!! -Nikki

Happy Nikki Sivils Day!

Hi everyone! This is Ria Mojica again. "Nikki Sivils Day" is what my scrapping friends and I dubbed yesterday's crop as we all worked on creating LOs using Nikki Sivils products. It was so inspiring and such an eye-opening experience to see the various ways we all used the same products.

As I worked on the new lines, my friends got to work on the yummy products from last season. I couldn't help thinking whether I was being too generous by letting them have a go at my precious papers...part of me wanted to grab it all back from them as they practically fought over the materials...in the end I did get back one of the Christmas papers for a LO that I want to do...and made sure that they leave behind any unused scraps of paper for me to use.

Here are my 3 LOs using the new lines:

Yum! using Bella Blue and Oscar Too

The Bee's Knees using Willow Bee

See Saw Fun using Flaming Buttefly

And these are my gorgeous scrapping friends, we call ourselves the Adobo Girls (adobo is a native Filipino dish, and during one of our past crops, we all brought different kinds of adobo for our meal). From left to right, Arlene, myself, Dinah, Iris, Ems, Bjay, Kitkat, Liza, Pia and April.

Now here's what they created. April always get the top prize for being the fastest scrapper -- she finished 4 LOs using Nikki Sivils products (I wasn't able to take a pic of the last one), but actually finished 7 LOs yesterday! Everyone wants to sit beside Iris hoping that some of her creative juices rub-off on us. She finished a 2nd LO but had to leave early to bring her baby to the doctor so I wasn't able to take a pic of that, as well.

What a great weekend this turned out to be --- friends + food + scrapping = great great fun! Hope your week-end was as great as mine!

Cheers!

My Nikki Sivils stamp organizer! And a preschool field trip :)

I, Nathalie, am a little overjoyed to share my projects with you today! Here's why:

I have accumulated quite a large amount of Nikki Sivils clear stamps and after toying around with the brand new sticker pockets I have just received, I had this idea of making myself a stamp organizer. Yes, the stamp sets fit right into those pockets!!! Isn't that perfect?! I used the Willow Bee collection to decorate my "mini" and bound it with my Bind-It-All. I love that it is so fun AND practical at the same time!

I also had to play with the new Flaming Butterfly and Bella Blue and Oscar Too collections and created this page for one of my DS2's field trips to the flower fields:

Last but not least, I am also celebrating the one year anniversary of my blog with a nice Nikki Sivils giveaway. Visit me HERE to find out about how to win Nikki's very first collection!

Flaming Hot Here

Hi there,

Its my turn, Nadhrah to blog again. I hope all of you did have a wonderful Valentine's celebration with your love ones.

I know by now everyone is talking about Nikki's Newest Collection since it was first debuted in CHA recently. As for me, the DT...playing with her collections has been a fun experience. This time the colors are more eye catching and i could not stop playing with it. Nikki has also come out with this cutie buttons...The Burlap Buttons...ohhh such an awesome embellishment. It comes in 4 colors...blue, black, brown and red. Let me tell you this is the "must have" embellishment in your stash. Trust me!
Ok...back to my project.... this time i wanted to share about a 14" x 14" canvas which i make using My Sweet Cherry Pie Collection. Since Spring is approaching pretty soon...and My Sweet Cherry Pie colors are just perfect for the season....very pretty and fresh looking!

I used lots of acrylic paint, mod podge and glimmer mist for this.

Here is couple of layouts and cards from NEW Nikki's Flaming Butterfly & Willow Bee collections.

I hope you enjoy my project and hang out here more often. We will definitely have something exciting coming out soon. Till then...have a wonderful weekend.
